No Patience Found Here...

Okay, I know I should be glad I am starting to feel a little less pain in my shins, but I was hoping for a little better time/distance in a 45 minute run/walk. I ran the exact distance I did 3 weeks ago by a whopping 10 seconds faster. The stretching helps, but the darn things are still the first thing to make me want to stop jogging and start walking. I think I'm going to go by Fleet Feet to get one of those rocky-footy type stretchers. I don't want to turn this discomfort into an injury. Anyway, I haven't been blogging as much as there are so many good bloggers out there. Keep up the great blogging!

Don't worry about your speed, slow down and try walking backwards for about 1/10 of a mile or so at the end. This will strengthen those muscles. Oh, and ...... STRETCH! heehee...
